Standup comedian and actor, Okey Bakassi hosted a lineup of celebrity guests to his 50th birthday party. From former vice-presidential candidate Peter Obi to fellow comedians Gbenga Adeyinka, Ali Baba, Juilius Agwu to the likes of Nollywood stars like Hilda Dokubo, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and more, it was indeed a glamorous occasion in what looked like a black ball.
The veteran also spared time in the event to launch his new book, Memoirs of an African Comedian, that narrates defining moments in his career as an entertainer.

“Thanks to all of you for the outpouring of love and support in this past one week. Words can’t describe how grateful I am. May God continue to bless you all.” Bakassi told his fans via social media.
