High fashion designer Zac Posen shocked the world with his big announcement of shutting down his famous fashion line. Zac founded his eponymous brand in 2001 and has grown to be the celebrity go-to choice for grand red carpet events.

The dress maker attributes his business closure to the tough times he has faced in retail and in the industry plus the lack of the right strategic partners. He is known for his signature structured and architectural gowns which have been worn by Rihanna, Katie Holmes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Oprah Winfrey, Natalie Potrman and more stars.

Posen made it official by posting a photo of his creative team online with the caption: “I want to express my appreciation to our extraordinary team and for all those who have stood by me and the brand. I owe a great deal of gratitude for their unwavering support for and dedication to the Company. I am grateful to the team who lent their incomparable talent and commitment along the way. I remain incredibly proud of what we created and hopeful for the future. Love ZP.”

Hopefully, this will not mean the end for the entrepreneur who has affiliation with home design and culinary.
