The Abiola Moshood stadium which has been left in abandonment is finally getting a makeover thanks to industry giant, Aliko Dangote who has partnered with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to create the needed changes.

Giving a remark of gratitude, the head of ministry, Sunday Dare thanked the popular entrepreneur for joining in on the restoration campaign. “Many thanks to Dangote industries and indeed Alhaji Aliko Dangote for partnering with the Ministry of Youth and Sports development to restore the football pitch and scoreboard of Abiola Moshood stadium. Our Adopt-A-Pitch campaign program is on course.” He expressed.

Much earlier, photos of a depreciated Abiola stadium surfaced online and the poor maintenance culture in the country was to blame for.
