Welcome to this episode of FASHION POLICE! Our culprits or fashionistas this week fished out from across the globe may not exactly be a bunch of terrible dressers, they only managed to get our attention (in either a good or bad way). Let’s see.
It’s not even Valentine’s week and Gabrielle Union is already blinding us in this red and white floral two-piece. Her Rosie Assoulin design is way too bright. For a casual outdoor outing, maybe, but not for the Awards function she is attending. What we absolutely love though is her white sandals and those perfectly pedicured nails!
Cleavage from Lagos to Badagry, Aisha Hinds needs to put some clothes on. Yes, we know the True Blood actress is a daring dresser but this right here is just… Aisha would have to wait for further interrogation. Next!
We just got reminded that white, black and brown is a sophisticated colour combo. Maggot Robbie is busy promoting her new film Birds of Prey, she arrived to shoot an episode of The View wearing this chic and lovely ensemble. She is free like a bird!
We love that our dear Genevieve attended the Black women in Hollywood Awards organised by Essence magazine, looking delectable. That BOXY bag however did not complement her dress when she is already wearing shoes with CHUNKY heels. In the beauty department, we noticed upon zooming in on close-range photos that Nnaji’s makeup did not perfectly blend into her skin and appeared a bit ‘cakey’. Aside these, she is permitted to proceed into this event.
You know Billy Porter draws pieces from both men and women’s wardrobe and frankly, some of his past looks may have been a little bit… but we actually like this look right here because it is super clean and “do-able” whilst being androgynous like he likes it. We can picture Pharrell Williams wearing this – with a hat – and still look stylish.
We had to make sure that this is indeed a photo of Kerry Washington before passing any judgement. Sadly, the actress was overwhelmed by this amazon-ish creation even though she had the right hairstyle for it.
